With 25 years of experience in property and casualty insurance, you will surely benefit from Wendy Heckman's expertise. Wendy has worked with COPIC in the health care community since 1999, and will work personally with you to identify risks, implement the best insurance program based on these risks, and monitor your program to ensure you are properly protected.

Wendy has earned numerous professional insurance designations, including Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI), Registered Professional Liability Underwriter, and Associate in Claims (AIC). Wendy also remains active in the insurance industry by teaching Colorado licensing classes throughout the state. She is also president of Kids in Need of Dentistry and formerly served on the board of directors for Colorado Medical Group Management Association (CMGMA).

Mike Edwards graduated from Penn State University with a BS in Finance and a minor in Real Estate. For the past 18 years, he has helped physicians and dentists with their insurance and investment planning needs. During this time, Mike obtained his Life Underwriting Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation and completed his training for the Certified Financial Planning (CFP) designation in 1995. He joined COPIC in 1999, and in addition to his practical experience working one-on-one with people like you, he also speaks regularly to local residency programs and medical societies on pertinent financial issues and how they relate to today's medical and dental professional.

Andrea has eight years of experience in group health insurance and became affiliated with COPIC Financial in 2000.

No matter what your age or state of health, odds are that you may need long-term care services at some point in your lifetime. Carolyn Samuelson of COPIC Financial understands the aging process, the health-care delivery system, and financial planning-a combination that allows her to help you realistically protect against the catastrophic financial and emotional issues involved with long-term care.

Carolyn has more than ten years of experience helping individuals prepare for the consequences of aging. Since 1997, she has worked with the health care community as a specialist in long-term care issues and insurance. Carolyn has earned a Certificate in Gerontology from the graduate school of social work at the University of Denver. In addition, she is certified by the Health Insurance Association of America as a Long-Term Care Professional and earned a Corporation for Long-Term Care Certification from the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Carolyn is also a member of the Colorado Long Term Care Forum.

Carolyn holds a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in human communication. Carolyn volunteers for Kids in Need of Dentistry, the Aspen Village Friendship Program, and serves as a docent at the Denver Public Library.
